Frenectomies For Infants
What is a Frenectomy?
A frenectomy is a simple procedure performed to release the restriction of the frenum, the connective tissue attaching tongue to the floor of the mouth (tongue tie) and lip to the gum tissue (lip tie). This restriction does not allow normal movement of the tongue and lip and can have significant impacts on your infant's wellbeing.

The precision of the light energy used by LightScalpel's CO2 laser does not "cut" tissue, but instead it vaporizes the tissue and seals off tiny blood vessels with minimal impact on the surrounding tissues.
